*Our hygiene and safety measures were devised and confirmed by our scientific committee made up of medical experts. Measures defined as of May 20, 2020, subject to change depending on the context and local regulations. These measures will be applied in our Resorts open in France and in Europe this summer.

COVID-19 insurance included in your package

For travels until December 31st, 2023

Club Med has joined forces with Europ Assistance and offers all G.Ms a guarantee of medical assistance included in the package, in the event of illness linked to COVID.
§ All of your health costs abroad will be covered, including repatriation.*
§ Hospitalization: in addition to your health costs, extra services such as accommodation for your accompanying persons will be covered*
§ Containment linked to the illness: the costs of stay extension in the Resort are covered*
§ If you miss the planned return flight: the assistance center will take care of and organize a new return flight according to the requirements established by the medical team.*

Valid for departures until December 31, 2023 inclusive. *Within the limits of the guarantees of the contract.
The consequences of global COVID situations in the country where the Resort is located are not covered by the guarantee, such as: border closures (by region / by city / airport closure / flight cancellation / closure of the Resort ...), interruption of stay (following the declaration of a state of health emergency) and quarantine (at destination, without being sick).

Flexible conditions

amend your stay free of charge until the day before departure *

  • Based on reception of an email from Club Med informing you of the modification of the service / experience at a Resort, benefit from maximum flexibility if you wish to modify your stay. Any air costs are excluded and re-invoiced.

In particular, valid reasons would be:
§ Restrictions or strict curfews on site in the country of destination which do not allow us to deliver one of the pillars of the Club Med experience (children's clubs, catering, ski lessons, ski lift, etc.)
§ Isolation imposed on arrival or return
§ Regional / national confinement in the country of destination
§ Confinement in the country of origin or travel ban
§ Inability to reach destination
§ Inability to perform a PCR test on site when it is required on return.

Safe Together - The Club Med Hygiene & Safety Promise

Mandatory health documents: a health protocol is in place to welcome you in the best possible conditions and leads us to ask you to justify specific documents to access our Resorts, for all adults and children aged 12 and over, until further notice, in accordance with local rules.

Failing to present one of these documents will result in access to the Resort to be refused to you as well as to your accompanying persons.

§ Measures implemented from the moment you arrive at the resort
§ Floor markings in all waiting areas to ensure safe distances
§ Digital services such as Easy Arrival to limit lines
§ More spacing in our restaurants and extended hours

Thorough cleaning services

More frequent and thorough cleaning is carried out in our Resorts with particular attention paid to:

§ The rooms
§ Resort areas: restaurants, bars, our kids' club spaces, reception...
§ Sports equipment

Sanitising equipment is made available in all of the Resort's services: Hydroalcoholic gel, disinfectant wipes, soap

Security measures

Increased security:

§ Teams trained in all health and hygiene measures and made aware of the different health protocols in our resorts
§ Our staff who are in contact with our guests will wear gloves and masks if required
§ An adapted entertainment programme to respect social distancing standards
§ Particular attention will be paid to childcare with adapted Children's Clubs: more outdoor activities and smaller groups
