From your Club Med Cap Skirring resort, board a pirogue to the Saloum delta to take in the scenery. This ecosystem of shell mounds, mangroves and baobabs offers endless exploration in an authentic natural environment.
At the northern tip of Senegal, fly to Djoudj National Park, the 3rd largest ornithological park in the world, home to over 3 million birds.
From here, it takes 3 hours to reach the Lompoul desert. Covering an area of just 18km², the desert offers an impressive spectacle of dunes 30m to 50m high, and a unique panorama from their summits.

What to visit in Senegal

Lompoul Desert

In the north-west of the country, discover the immortal landscapes of this small 18km² desert, 10km from the ocean. Once you've recovered from your excursion, leave your tent at the foot of a gigantic dune and take in the exceptional panorama.
This unusual hike is best enjoyed at dawn, when the last rays of sunlight ignite the beauty of the site.

Goree

In the southwest of the country, Casamance is one of the most beautiful regions of West Africa. Surrounding your Club Med Cap Skirring resort, it's a bewitching region with colorful towns like Ziguinchor and Oussouye.
Its natural landscapes, such as Carabane Island, can be explored by pirogue. Take the time to visit the Kalissaye nature reserve.
