The beach consists of fine gravel and small, smooth pebbles. It takes its name from the two white rocks rising from the crystal clear sea, which resemble two "sisters at prayer".
Situated close by the hamlet of Maratea, this rugged coastline shares the same blue water and dark grey sand as the Amalfi coast.
