With highs of 34°C in August, you’ll want to make the most of the cool mornings for sight-seeing, then relax in the pool during the hot midday hours, ready to enjoy the famously pleasant Grecian summer evenings.

Acropolis of Athens
For a fabulous glimpse of the city's rich history on your trip to Athens, head to the Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This hill overlooks the Greek capital and is home to some historical treasures that should not be missed during your vacation in Athens in mainland Greece. On the program ? Visit the Parthenon, the centerpiece of the Acropolis with classical ancient Greek architecture, and discover the Erechtheion, adorned with statues of the Caryatids and composed of several shrines dedicated to Athena, Zeus and Poseidon.
