Kani Maldives

The view is scenic and I am staying at overwater villa. The view from the villa is fabulous. Even though the villa is not so new but the staff would respond immediately if there are any needs.
The GO are very responsive and they to accommodate our needs to make our stay a pleasure. Special thanks to Fenny, Beverly, Cody, Appy, Victoria, and Rika for the unwavering care and atttention throughout my 5D4N stay. I love Beverly’s yoga class. I also love the aqua gym. The instructor tries to make the lesson more interesting and he always so smiley. He even taught me how to sail. Multi talented. Appy is amazing at his dance moves. He is so talented yet humourous and friendly. Beverly, Fenny, Cody and Victoria took time to sit with us and the conservations among us are amazing.
The team spirit among them is wonderful . On the last day, they actually came and sent us off at the jetty or made time to bid farewell to us. The personal touch made the stay so memorable.

Super friendly bartender staff Kim. Awesome Mango smoothie from Kawseer. Great Yoga lessons from Beverly, Good Sailing, Paddling, Kayaking experience, staff are friendly and helpful. Snorkeling staff are so great and knowledgeable. Overall 10/10 satisfaction.

Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from Isla and Fenny, who introduced us to the Club Med experience and helped us settle in comfortably. The Club Med app was also an excellent companion throughout our stay, making it easy to plan activities and maximise everything the resort had to offer.

A special mention must go to Beverly, whose dedication and genuine care significantly enhanced our holiday. Despite being relatively new to her role, she consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable and memorable stay. She was approachable, attentive, and always willing to help. Whenever she did not have an immediate answer to our questions, she proactively sought guidance from her senior colleagues and followed up promptly. Her professionalism, sincerity, and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. We arrived as guests and left feeling as though we had made a friend.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Palitha, the Bar Manager, and Kim, the Mixologist. Together with Beverly, Palitha played an instrumental role in organising my brother's beachfront birthday celebration, creating a wonderful and unforgettable experience for our family. He also arranged a sunset dolphin cruise, which became one of the highlights of our trip. Watching dolphins in their natural habitat while cruising through the turquoise waters against a breathtaking Maldivian sunset is a memory we will cherish for years to come.

Kim's passion and skill were evident in every cocktail he prepared. His attention to detail, creativity, and consistency elevated every visit to the bar, with his signature cocktail standing out as a particular favourite during our stay.

We would also like to acknowledge Morita, Fenny, and the entire sailing team for their outstanding hospitality, patience, and professionalism. Their guidance allowed us to experience sailing for the first time, and what began as a new activity quickly became one of the most enjoyable parts of our holiday. Their expertise and encouragement helped us gain confidence while ensuring every session was both safe and enjoyable.

Another blessing during our visit was the weather. Prior to arriving, we had read reports of storms and unpredictable condition, but it was all clear.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Club Med Kani, Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and memorable, beginning with the smooth private boat transfer from Malé Airport to the resort.

Kim's craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every drink he prepared, with his signature cocktail being a particular highlight.

We would also like to acknowledge Morita, Fenny, and the sailing instructors for their hospitality and professionalism. The sailing team provided excellent guidance and introduced us to a new activity that became one of the highlights of our trip. Their patience and expertise helped us understand the fundamentals of sailing, and we thoroughly enjoyed every session.

We were also fortunate to enjoy excellent weather throughout our stay. Despite reports of storms and unpredictable conditions before our arrival, we were blessed with clear skies, sunshine, refreshing winds, and ideal conditions for outdoor activities throughout our holiday.

There were only two minor areas for improvement: the delay in receiving a toothbrush despite multiple requests, and the relatively high cost of certain services and items not included in the package.

Overall, our experience at Club Med Kani exceeded expectations. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality demonstrated by the team made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The personal farewell upon our departure was a thoughtful touch and a fitting conclusion to an exceptional holiday.

We left with wonderful memories, a happy heart, and a strong desire to explore other Club Med destinations in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Club Med Kani for an unforgettable experience.

From the very first moment we arrived on Kani Island, it was clear that this was going to be something truly special — and that impression only deepened with every passing day, largely thanks to the incredible GO team. Warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about making every guest feel welcome, they set the tone for the entire stay. What struck us most was how naturally they remembered our names, our preferences, and even the little things we'd mentioned in passing. This wasn't a performance — it was authentic hospitality at its very best.

The sheer variety of activities on offer is staggering — there truly is something for everyone, regardless of age or energy level. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element: we tried snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, all perfectly organised and led by knowledgeable GOs who made even beginners feel safe and confident. On land, the fitness classes, beach volleyball, padel and evening entertainment kept the atmosphere buzzing from morning to night. The GOs running these sessions brought such infectious energy that even the most reluctant guests found themselves joining in and laughing by the end. Every activity felt carefully thought through, well-staffed, and genuinely fun.

The opportunity to do an introduction to scuba diving was eagerly taken by both our kids - needless to say introducing them to scuba diving in the Maldives has got them hooked and they are now both looking forward to getting certified and starting their underwater adventures! The team at Euro Divers, was very professional and we felt very safe in leaving our kids in their very capable hands.

The bar and restaurant teams deserve a very special mention. Every meal felt like an occasion — beautifully presented, endlessly varied, and always delicious. The buffet spread was extraordinary, with fresh options that changed throughout the day, catering effortlessly to different tastes and dietary needs. But what truly elevated the dining experience was the staff themselves. Attentive without being intrusive, they were always on hand with a genuine smile, a helpful suggestion, or simply a friendly word. At the bar, the team crafted wonderful cocktails and had this wonderful ability to make you feel like a regular from day one. If you have the chance the lobster dinner at the Secret Garden is well worth splashing out for.

Club Med Kani is the kind of place that stays with you long after you've left. It's beautiful, yes — but it's the exceptional people who make it unforgettable. We will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended 5 stars.
