In the Italian Alps, just 20 minutes from the French border, lies the village of Sestriere. This ski resort founded by the Agnelli family (of Fiat fame) is known about all over the world. Since the Winter Olympics were held here in 2006, this resort in the Italian Piedmont region has been internationally famous.

Its 125 miles of pistes reaching 2840 metres altitude are no accident! The snow cover in Sestriere is remarkable and makes skiing a real pleasure.

Easily learn how to ski and snowboard at any age
Love skiing and want to share your passion with your kids? Club Med Pragelato Sestriere is the perfect place to learn this winter sport!

From age 4, your kids can learn to ski at Mini Club Med+®. During group lessons with other kids their age, they can progress at their own pace. You can then either ski with them, or hand them over to the ESI team. Do your kids want to try snowboarding? From the age of 8, they can on certain dates, and from 12, they can all season! Lessons and ski pass are included from 4 years on.

Tweens and teens aged 11 to 17 can go to Teens or Chill Pass Club Med, where snowboarding and alpine skiing are on the schedule. But with the Teens' Multi-Ski package, if your kids are already comfortable with the sport, they can try another way to ski, including mogul skiing, skiing at the edge of the slope, jumps, ski cross, powder and even skiing in the forest!

Skiing, nature and the great outdoors
Your stay at Club Med Pragelato Sestriere is a chance to do all kinds of sports. Whether you prefer a gentle pace or going all out, you can adjust what you do on your holiday as it includes a variety of activities such as:

  Looking for an intense bespoke experience on the snow? Book an ESI instructor for individual guidance on the slopes. Progress at your own pace and set your own goals. Your descents will be transformed!
  To explore the Piedmont mountains in a different way, pull on some snowshoes and follow your guide across the snow past snow-covered pine trees and jagged peaks.

Still just too conventional? How about an hour's snowmobiling* to whip up some powder? From the age of 18, you can try this exhilarating activity that has you whizzing through the snow. Slalom between the snow-covered trees and turn off the engine for a moment to enjoy the silence. *at extra charge
