Form your doubles team and take part in a European amateur padel competition that could take you from Geneva all the way to Marbella. The prize for the finalist pairs: a one-week all-inclusive holiday at Club Med for two people*.

  • Qualifying rounds in Switzerland on 10 October 2026,
  • The four national semi-finalists in both the women’s and men’s competitions will bring the tournament to a close in January 2027, during a special, festive evening event,
  • International final at Club Med Magna Marbella in March 2027.

1 - How can I take part?

Put together your team of two, either all-female or all-male:

  • The tournament is open only to amateur players, whether or not they hold a licence, and to recreational or intermediate-level tournament players
  • The combined age of the two members of the pair must be 60 years or over
  • Players ranked in the top 50 in Switzerland and female players ranked in the top 20 in Switzerland – or the equivalent in other countries for non-Swiss players (rankings as at 1 September) – as well as players participating in professional tours, trainers and coaches, are not eligible to take part.

2 - What is the Club Med Padel Tour?

1. A brand-new European tournament

The Club Med Padel Tour is a European competition designed for those who love both competition and socialising.
This first edition will bring together padel enthusiasts across several stages, held in various European countries, before culminating in a grand international final featuring the finalists from each country.

National qualifiers in Switzerland:

  • 10 October 2026: qualifiers involving up to 48 pairs
  • January 2027 (exact date to be confirmed), evening event: 8 pairs for the semi-finals / finals

 

The international final in Spain, at Club Med Magna Marbella >:

  • in March 2027, featuring the finalist duos from Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and South Africa.

2. A competition open to amateurs

The tournament is aimed at amateur players looking to take on a new challenge in a friendly atmosphere.
There are two categories on offer, Men’s and Women’s, to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the Club Med Padel Tour experience.

We do not accept entries from the following categories:

  • A combined age of the two players under 60 years
  • Men: players ranked within the top 50 in Switzerland (rankings valid from 1 September 2026)
  • Women: players ranked within the top 20 in Switzerland (rankings valid from 1 September 2026)
  • Professional or former professional players
  • Padel coaches and trainers
  • Players ranked on Swiss and international professional or semi-professional circuits

3. The road to the international final

  • The adventure begins in Geneva for Switzerland on 10 October 2026 with a full-day qualifying round.
  • The winning teams will then continue their journey, still at the David Lloyd Country Club Geneva, in the national final in January 2027.
  • In March 2027, the finalists from each country will be invited to the grand international final, held at the Club Med Magna Marbella.

*Tournament rules

I. The competition

  • Date of the selection tournament: Saturday 10 October 2026 at the David Lloyd Geneva Country Club
  • The tournament will be played in a group stage format, with the winners of each group progressing to the final draw
  • The four semi-finalists in both the women’s and men’s competitions will conclude the tournament in January 2027 at a special, festive evening event
  • The tournament winners – one home pair and one women’s pair – will travel in March 2027 with the Club Med Switzerland team to Club Med Magna Marbella in Spain to compete in the European Grand Final. Following the Grand Final, the two winning pairs will each receive a one-week holiday for two people at Club Med. Make sure your passeport is valid 😉

II. Organisation

  • A men’s draw and a women’s draw
  • Match format: 1 set of 6 games with a tie-break at 6-all for the group stage
  • 2 sets of 6 games with a super tie-break for the quarter-finals
  • The golden point rule applies (deciding point at 40/A)
  • Teams must consist of one David Lloyd member and one non-member, or two non-members
  • One of the two players must be resident at an address in Switzerland
  • The combined age of the two players must be at least 60 years
  • Open to licensed and unlicensed players, as well as recreational and intermediate tournament players.
  • Players ranked in the top 50 in Switzerland / female players ranked in the top 20 in Switzerland, or the equivalent in other countries for non-Swiss players (rankings as at 1 September), are not eligible to take part
  • Players participating in professional circuits, as well as trainers and coaches, are also ineligible to take part.
  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to pairs where one of the players fails to meet these requirements, and to exclude from the competition during the tournament any player who has not disclosed their level and who does not meet the required conditions.
  • The tournament will be played using Babolat balls and rackets, which will be provided for your matches.

III. Registration

  • The number of teams will be limited to 32 for the men’s competition and 16 for the women’s
  • All teams will receive welcome gifts

  • Registrations will only be valid once the registration fee of CHF 60 per person has been paid to the David Lloyd Country Club Geneva
  • The draw tables will be sent to you by email a few days before the start of the tournament; please check your email addresses carefully to ensure you receive them.

IV. The prize for the two national finalist pairs
An all-inclusive stay in March 2027 at the Club Med resort in Marbella, Spain, to compete in the international final and represent Switzerland. The dates and duration of the holiday will be announced at a later date.

  • A one week all-inclusive holiday (excluding transport) for two,
  • Dates excluding Christmas and New Year school holidays in France, Belgium and Switzerland (all zones included),
  • Destinations: all Club Med resorts in Europe or equivalent (subject to availability based on the dates provided),
  • Gift voucher cannot be extended; valid for one year from the date of issue (March 2027).
