Opio en Provence France

We really enjoyed our 2nd stay at Club Med Opio with a 4 year old and 8 month old and will return soon. Thanks for an amazing experience!

In 4 words: We already booked again.

We are just back from 5days at Opio, after many years without visiting a club med.

The location is amazing as well as the activities.

Julien, the manager, seems to be everywhere, from sports venues, to pools, going through karaoke nights, remembering guests and preferences.

We enjoyed every single member of the team, Jade at the archery, the entire tennis/paddle team.

Our son, who is very shy, enjoyed the mini club where the team took him slowly and were always accommodating on the time and places we would pick our son. Their return on our son activities were very accurate when we know our kid. We were completely trusting them. Go at the mini club are true professionals. Also, do not miss swimming lessons for kids with Ondine at the main pool: she has rare teaching skills and is amazing with people in general but especially with children.

The food was excellent, fresh and accommodating every palate (from our 1yo, to the 4yo as well as us as adults).

The quality of the cocktails were amazing and not expected in an all inclusive resort.

One minus: bedding was a bit old (one of the mattress was replaced but not the other, leading to back pain and level differences in bed, pillows were low quality).

Also, the reception was not very helpful during the stay and at departure. The team was fantastic at arrival.

We booked again the day we arrived home.

Of many Club Med holidays this was my most enjoyable.

The location, food, sports and entertainment were all super. The resort, although old, was kept exceptionally clean. The grounds were
beautiful and in tip top condition.

On my last day, I carefully wrote down names of GO’s that I wanted to give a special mention to. Sadly I’m extremely unorganised, untidy, old and forgetful. CANNOT FIND MY PIECE OF PAPER 😱. Remembered a few names out of many GO’s that made my stay great:

Onedin was so special. Simon and his aqua gym, amazing. Greg, the telecommunications guru, the Circus team were out of this world,
Onedin, who produced such wonderful sound and had such cute hair, the Japanese gentleman behind the bar, Scott who gave
me the best golf lesson I’ve ever had. Ana at reception who looked after me like a diamond.

As a testament of how much I enjoyed Club Med Opio I booked another holiday there this September.😂😎😀😂😀😀

Opio club Med is known as a great place to stay in summer. And the go team is doing a great job.
All the Sport activities are awsome..
The morning walks are very interesting
